About Thalamura
Thalamura — തലമുറ, meaning "generation" in Malayalam — is a private, AI-assisted family tree built for Kerala families and the millions of Malayalis living across the Gulf.
Why we built it
Every Malayali family has the same problem: the elders remember everything, the cousins are scattered between Kochi and Kuwait, and nobody has written it down. Names get forgotten. Photos sit in drawers. By the time someone tries to build the tree, the people who knew it are gone.
Thalamura is the family tree your whole family can build together — on their phones, in their language, with an AI that understands how Malayali families actually work.
Who it's for
- Kerala families wanting to preserve their lineage and oral history.
- The Gulf diaspora — UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain — staying connected to relatives back home.
- Anyone collecting stories from elders while there is still time.
Our principles
- Private by default. Trees are visible only to invited family. No public profiles, no selling data.
- Built for mobile and the Gulf. Installable PWA, works on the connections you actually have.
- Three languages, one tree. English, Malayalam, and Arabic — first-class.
